Your situation has to hurt oce! I'm sorry to hear about your losses. I think no matter what anyone here says, you're the only one that knows how your group reacts to things. As a spiritual group, don't they at least owe you the decency of a meeting to communicate with the people you need closure from??

I usually avoid getting involved with issues of religion or politics, but... there's something very manipulative about all this. I don't know how old you are and I certainly don't want to pass judgment on your faith. However, keep your guard up and try to be objective here. Who you date is YOUR decision. Anyone in your life who contributes to your misery should not BE in your life. People like that should be avoided at all costs.
